Two of Marshall Academy’s rising seniors are participating in summer programs at Ole Miss.

Winston Fant was the representative for Boys State. This is a Mississippi based program focused on each branch of government. The students are broken up into groups, each one having the same branches of government as our state. Each group battles to have the best by the end of their stay.

Jack Whaley Smith is attending Lott Leadership, which is a four week, on campus experience. Students from all over the country and abroad attend. While there, they earn college credits while honing leadership abilities. It is a marvelous opportunity to meet and network with like minded people.
