The Holly Springs Farmers Market got kicked off to a grand start Saturday. The square was lined with all sorts of fresh fruits and vegetables along with a large variety of plants. The Market runs every Saturday on the square from 8:00 am until noon. Be sure to pop up there and support your local growers.

Congratulations to the Marshall Academy graduates. They walked the stage Monday night and received their diplomas from esteemed Circuit Court Judge, Kent Smith. The future is bright for the graduates, with nearly all of them heading in one direction or another.

Happy belated Mother’s Day to all of you out there whether you gave birth, adopted or have “consider yours” children. Often mommas do not get nearly the credit they deserve. If you were to make a list of everything you do on top of tending to your children, it would amaze you. I see you - all of you wonderful women! Keep it up, it does not go unrecognized.
