Time in the snow

Social media was flooded with photographs Sunday and Monday of folks frolicking in the snow. It was a treat, as the fun stuff usually skirts us.

It was here one day and thankfully off of the roads the next, as there was the fourth annual Martin Luther King celebration on the square Monday. College Avenue was closed off at Memphis Street with a large stage. Vendors from all around set up, as well as local organizations. Speaker and singers alike took to the stage and entertained into late afternoon.

Hamilton Arnold from Leland was here over the weekend visiting his grandparents, Marie and C.B. McClatchy. He had a grand time getting out with them and they built the cutest snowman ever!

Wynne and Paxton Clark of Dorsey were the guests of Grace Bonds. They came over to enjoy her company and spend time in the snow.
