Happiest of New Year’s to all of our readers both locally and out of town. Thanks to the rain, we were unable to have our ball drop. It did not, however, dampen the spirits of our townsfolk

Something excitingly new appeared in the parking lot of Thomas LP on the dreariest of days…Mexican on the Run food truck. Talk about incredible service. I was able to contact them through Facebook messenger, place my order and when I got there, it was hot and ready. I have to say the food was delicious. To me, it was unlike any I have had in our area – completely unique in every way. I look forward to them coming back as it was a true treat!

The Chik-fil-A food truck also made an appearance on the square! As long as the lines were, they were quick to take orders, fill them and send them on their merry way. It was run like a fine-oiled machine
