Happiest of birthdays to Julie Strickland! She flipped a number Tuesday! Julie was celebrated by family and friends all weekend with various fun functions.

Paxton Clark enjoyed an adventurous day at the water park in Bessemer, Alabama, with his Momma, Wynne Clark, and Glam, Grace Bonds, last week.

My sweet angel grandbaby, Delilah Jane Bray, of Olive Branch, spent the weekend with her Baboo (Kay Wheeler), LaLa (Laura Wheeler) and myself (Cricket). Her parents dropped her off Friday evening. She enjoyed a great night watching the College World Series, or she seemed to anyway. At five weeks old, I am not sure how much she really comprehended but she did hang with all of us until the weather delay. Saturday morning, she woke to a visit from the First Night Fairy (if you know, you know). She enjoyed being outside on the side porch and later that afternoon, a stroll around Kirk wood.

Molly and Bart Jenkins and their children, Hadley and West, and Tobe West traveled to Omaha, Nebraska, to root for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. They returned Sunday after watching State slide past Texas to get to the finals with Vanderbilt.
