Happy Birthday wishes to Laura Wheeler! She celebrated with a family birthday dinner Sunday night. Here’s to another 45 great years.
Shop locally. I have preached this for years and it is more important now than ever. One would be hard pressed to find a big box store to greet you with a smile at your car, curbside, to swap a “happy” for money. Last week, I needed a birthday gift. Clancy’s, Copper Kettle, Laws Hill Fish House, Panda Buffet, Phillips’ Grocery, Tracy Jeffries (best pork skins you will ever eat) and Southern Eatery are all serving incredible food with a large variety for every person in your household or at work.
Clancy’s offers family pack deals Wednesday through Sunday which include an entree, two sides, a bread, dessert and a gallon of sweet tea. Southern Eatery also offers a family pack Monday through Friday evenings. Their family pack includes your choice of four or more items from their menu, along with a gallon of sweet tea and a choice of individual desserts. For the first time since all of this broke out, Panda Buffet is open. The Wangs and their delicious fare of Chinese cuisine have been greatly missed.
Kudos to the hard-working men and women of the Holly Springs Police Department. The detectives and officers have been highly visible and more than helpful when issues have arisen. If you follow their Facebook page, they have done a fine job in keeping the community abreast.
Mary Rives McCrosky turned 3 Monday, April 20. Amid all of this panic, she was celebrated by family and friends from near and far. Happiest of birthdays to one adorable little girl! Mary Rives is the daughter of Ann Yager and Alex McCrosky.
