Scavenger hunt adventure

City Personals

Baseball season is underway

Carreyanne Cook hosted a party for the 2020 Senior Class of Marshall Academy Saturday night. The class was broken off into groups and had a wonder ful time participating in a scavenger hunt all around Holly Springs. A big thank you to businesses, local law enforcement and townsfolk who entertained the masses while out on the hunt.

If you have any type of medical issues that crop up on a weekend, we have a new clinic that has opened, Heartland. Its Saturday hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., full service with an FNP on site. They are located in the old Holly Springs Eye Clinic building on Van Dorn Avenue. The staff is educated and friendly. Having small children or even as an adult, some things happen that need to be addressed Saturdays. They run a close second to shot giving, too, which is major for those who have needle phobia.

Mother Nature has finally decided it is OK to start baseball season. Marshall Academy’s season is jam-packed with both away and home games. Their team is headed up by coach Bruce Branch and coach Jason Taylor. They have a young team exploding with talent. Check their schedule and spend an afternoon at the ball field watching the Patriots scrap it out.
