Food Truck Fair event

Midge Bagwell just returned from a nice stay in Owosso, Michigan, where she stayed with her son, Dustin Bagwell, and his family. She enjoyed attending the sporting events of her grands, Jillian and Christopher. She was the loudest fan in the stands for baseball, football and powder puff football games. She was a little quieter during the golf matches. They also traveled to see the turning of the leaves.

Mark your calendars for October 12. The ladies of Belles and Books are hosting a Food Truck Fair event. It will be held on College Avenue across the street from the Kate Freeman Clark Art Gallery. There will be a cash bar, a variety of scrumptious food truck offerings and Motown music. Advanced tickets are $10, to bring in a chair or $15 to have a seat at a table (limited seating available). This is sure to be a fun-filled event and something on a weekend when both Ole Miss and State will be competing out of town.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Schaeffer Stevens. The beautiful couple wed Saturday evening in the First Presbyterian Church with their reception at Montrose. Here’s to a marriage like the bride’s parents’, Lisa and Mike McCarter.
