Sunday, a group of Ben Seale’s beloved friends and family gathered to plant a special red bud tree in his honor. For those who knew Ben, they knew blue blockers were a constant for him, so it was very appropriate they were worn with style in planting the tree. Becky Cupp read two beautiful poems. Rowan Thompson of Dallas, Texas, has been the guest of Kay and Laura Wheeler. He was in town for an annual reunion of his college friends in Oxford over the weekend.

Hamilton Moriarty of Bentonville, Ark., was the weekend guest of her mother, Robin Seale. Her home, Shadow Lawn, was open for the 81st annual tour of homes sponsored by the Holly Springs Garden Club.
