Congratulations, Marshall Academy Junior High basketball teams on successful seasons

Congratulations to the Marshall Academy Junior High Lady Patriots basketball team. They took out two district foes to come out on top as district champions. Erin Burleson showed her freshman leadership, stayed on that floor working to help put her team on top. She will be missed next year, but will be a valuable asset moving forward with the varsity team.

The junior varsity Patriots basketball team fell short to district rival West Memphis Christian Academy Saturday in the final round of the tournament. A big thank you to Ginny Martin for always being a positive influence on the bench for those young men!

As this week will close, Marshall Academy is hosting the varsity basketball district tournament. If you are out and about, be sure to stop by the gym. Hopefully, this will be the first of a few post-season tournaments! Good luck to all involved.
