Bria Jones to wed Ajacca Penilton Jr. June 22 at Hudsonville CME Church

Patrick S. Jones Jr. and Michelle D. Harris announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Bria S. Jones, to Ajacca B. Penilton Jr. Ajacca is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ajacca B. Penilton Sr. of Lamar.

Bria is a graduate of East St. Louis Senior High School. She is also a graduate of Purdue University, Lindenwood University, and Capella University. She is currently a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) candidate and an ABA therapist. Bria is a prior educator in the East Saint Louis, Illinois, Public School System. Additionally, she is a member of the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts and a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer. Bria is a faithful member of Shalom Church in St. Louis, Mo., where she serves as a part of the Gen Next Ministry/Youth Ministry.

The bride is the maternal granddaughter of the late Bobby and Juanita Harris of East St. Louis, Ill. She is also the maternal greatgranddaughter of the late Feddow and Esther Lee Harris of East St. Louis, Ill.

Ajacca is a graduate of Holly Springs High School. He is also a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville. He is currently a marketing manager with Boyd Gaming. Ajacca is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. and a faithful member of Hudsonville CME Church in Holly Springs.

The groom is the paternal grandson of Robert L. Penilton and the late Mary Walker-Penilton of Lamar. He is the maternal grandson of the late Joseph L. Hill Sr. and Roxie Mae Hill of Lamar.

Ajacca and Bria will exchange their vows on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at 4 p.m. at Hudsonville CME Church, located at 855 South Slayden Road, Holly Springs. Elder Bobby G. Wilson will be the wedding officiant. A reception will follow in the Hudsonville CME Church Family Life Center.
