Logan Hunter Sherouse and Belinda Blue Strauss

Belinda Blue Strauss to wed Logan Hunter Sherouse Dec. 15 at Lake Forest Ranch in Macon

Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Michael Strauss, of Oxford, announce the engagement of their daughter, Belinda Blue, to Logan Hunter Sherouse, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kurtis Allen Sherouse of Cantonment, Fla., and Mrs. Amanda Lassiter Harrison of Walnut Hill, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam R. Stradley of Holly Springs, the late Mr. Ralph Hurdle Curl of Holly Springs, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John L. Strauss of Wheaton, Ill.

Miss Strauss is a 2012 honors graduate of Olive Branch High School in Olive Branch, and was graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. Currently, she is earning her master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Mississippi State University. Belinda is a member of the Swannanoa Social Tribe. She is also the vice president of Chi Sigma Iota counseling honor society.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Sherouse of McDavid, Fla., Mr. Cookie Lassiter of Atmore, Ala., and Ms. Peggy Mauldin of Atmore, Ala.

Mr. Sherouse is a 2015 graduate of North View High School in Bratt, Fla., and is earning his Bachelor of Science degree in ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Hunter is employed as the youth pastor with Calvary Baptist in Macon.

The couple will exchange vows on December 15, 2018, at 3 p.m. at the Lake Forest Ranch in Macon, with a reception to follow. After their Jamaican honeymoon, Belinda and Hunter will reside in Macon.
