Letter to the Editor: Ode to Annie's

(Note: The following was a letter written to Annie's Homecooking, 200 North Memphis Street, Holly Springs by a patron who recently visited from Kansas.)

Dear Annie,

Hello sweet lady! I don’t know if you will remember me or not. I was traveling with two of my classmates celebrating our 70th birthdays. We all felt that God led us to your lovely restaurant. I feel so blessed to have met you. I have never felt so welcomed and loved. You were so gracious and offered us your loving hugs. You will never know how much I needed that. I feel so blessed to have met you!

The food was wonderful and all the help was outstanding!

I read the letter on the wall from your son and loved it! You raised him right and I’m glad he appreciates you so much.

I certainly hope that we meet again.

I wish you the best of health. I feel blessed to have met you.

Love you all!
