To the Editor:
Headed to the graveyard, I got to Hill Crest Cemetery and took a right into the cemetery and someone had a lawn mower in the middle of the little worn-out road.
Grass was knee high in spots. People were cutting their folks’ grave sites.
There was no one attending the lawn mower, so I went to go around it and I could not make it around.
I asked someone, why are people having to cut the graveyard? They said the city fired the contractors that cut the grass. And why was garbage piled up around the cedar trees? Why are the stones turned over?
I have a lot of friends and family resting out there.
Who does the cemetery belong to and who is responsible? Where is our tax money going?
