LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Dear Editor,

I would like to publicly thank our new mayor, Charles Terry and Board of Aldermen for taking on the task before them. I am a life long citizen of Holly Springs and for the first time ever, in the last few years have listened diligently to the city meetings.

I tell acquaintances it has been like returning to a train wreck; only listening because of my love for our dear town. I realize there are so many huge obstacles to overcome but I am so thankful that what I am hearing now in these meetings is a body of people who are working together to resolve so many issues; a mayor who is knowledgeable, reasonable, one who leads and listens.

I have full faith that one step at a time Holly Springs will return to a beautiful community that we all know and love.
