In honor of Arbor Day, the Marshall Academy fifth and sixth-grade classes were treated to an outing. They went to Montrose, headquarters for the Holly Springs Garden Club. Holly Springs native and Patriot alum, David Hill, discussed the importance of forest preservation and discussed all things trees. Later in the spring, a tree will be planted honoring Lockie York.

Sherry Childers and Irene Strickland put together the program for the students.

Sundays are not just for worship. Youth from the First United Methodist Church in Holly Springs met up Sunday afternoon to bowl. The group had a wonderful time with fellowship and a little competition.
