Ida B. Wells was a civil rights activist born in Holly Springs. We have a museum and a post office named in her honor.
What happened 28 years ago was the talk of the town last week.
Thank goodness, this time around, Marshall and Benton counties took a minimal hit.
Wendy Bailey, executive director of the Mississippi Department of Mental Health, came by the Northside Sun and gave me an earful about what’s going on with mental health in Mississippi.
