Another birthday. Time for my annual rumination about life. It’s an easy column, requiring little research!
For me, it’s a mixed bag as Bill Stone exits the Senate for his new job as general manager of the Holly Springs Utility Department.
I used son Kris’s car key to come to work Monday. Mine was on the MIA list. Last Monday, I had to drive granddaughter Meredith’s car, a Hyundai Sonota, to come to work.
I find it amusing that a few people have commented on my political views, believing I have become less conservative.

When I heard that Waste Connections, our current waste management provider, was not awarded a contract renewal I was stunned.
