The Legislature ended our session a few days early, but left some unfinished business and we expect to be called back before the 2018 Fiscal Year begins on July 1.
I was sitting in the Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts at Ole Miss Thursday around 2:45 p.m. I was waiting for the Phi Kappa Phi induction ceremony.
• We’ve started calling oldest granddaughter Merideth “the crazy chicken lady.” And for very good reasons, I might add.
Getting other community newspapers from across the state makes me realize many of those areas are facing the same issues we are.
