To the Editor:
Sue, what can I say? Your article in The South Reporter really captured the fun and essence of an historical event – imagine, Chickasaw dancers performing in their old watering place, Chickasaw elders sitting on benches watching, the historic return of their people to their homeland after so many years of exile.
I was in a discussion with someone last week on the topic “how kids have changed.”
It’s not the first time I’ve had the conversation.
I love to sit out on the deck or the front porch in the rain. Or in the cool of the morning and evening. Actually anytime that it’s not hot. I don’t do hot anymore at all.
