When the state Legislature voted 30 years ago to vastly improve Mississippi’s highways, they passed an 18 cent gas tax. It was the most logical way to fund the program.
Youth baseball is underway in Marshall County – a good time to continue my tradition of publishing an “Open Letter to Parents.” Remember, at this age, it’s all about having fun.
Monday, April 23, was my oldest granddaughter’s birthday. Bearing in mind I think she should still be 12, she actually was 22.
