James Ricky Taylor, 67, of Hickory Flat, died January 20, 2025. He was an owner/operator truck driver for 25 years. He was in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard.
Linda Frances Jones, age 71, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, in her home in Laws Hill, Miss. Linda was born on August 12, 1953, in Memphis, Tenn., to Bill and Thelma Duke. She married the love of her life, Doyle Clifford “Butch” Jones, on April 24, 1970. The couple began their life together in Memphis before settling in their forever home in Laws Hill.
Lola Faye Teel Dickerson passed away at the age of 84 on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford. Friends and family were invited to a visitation with the family on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. with service at 2 p.m. all at the Holly Springs Funeral Home. A graveside service was held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Holly Springs. Reverend Bob Sharman and Colter Teel officiated.
Dorothy Jean Roberson, 77, died January 12, 2025, at Union County Hospital in New Albany. She was a Baptist and a homemaker.
