Zeffie Ann Dortch Wicks

Zeffie Ann Dortch Wicks, 65, of Waterford, died July 8, 2018, at her home. She was a member of Christ Tabernacle MB Church in Lamar and a graduate of Sand Flat High School. She was a retired inspector at Mulay Plastics.

Visitation will be held on July 13 from 2-7 p.m. and with family from 6-7 p.m., and on July 14 from 9:30-10:25 a.m. at the church.

Services will be held at 10:30 a .m. on July 14 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries with burial in New Bethel MB Church Cemetery in Moscow, Tenn. Rev. Robert DeBerry will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Shawn Wicks; two children, Kirt Fortonnie Dortch, Donnell Dortch, both of Holly Springs; two sisters, Lease Thompson of Memphis, Tenn., Bettie Finnie of Lamar; three brothers, James Curtis Dortch of Waterford, Morris Dortch, Willie Dortch, both of Chicago, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Carlos Dortch and six siblings, Woodrow Franklin, Charles Perry Dortch, Fred Dortch, Dorothy Crumb, Maggie Dortch and Kokolia Dortch.
