Xavier Montez “Tez” Holpe

Xavier Montez “Tez” Holpe, 40, of Byhalia, died June 10, 2018, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of St. Matthew’s MB Church, in Byhalia. He attended Byhalia High School and worked in sales.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on June 16 at Smith Grove MB Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. Jermie Bowen officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a daughter, Xzadria Holpe of Byhalia; his mother, Cherrice Holpe-Jamison of Byhalia; his father Ira Boxley of Holly Springs; five brothers, Marrio Holpe of Southaven, Marcus Jamison, Robert Jamison Jr., both of Byhalia, Ira Boxley Jr., Courtney Boxley, both of Holly Springs;  and a great-grandmother, Laura Mae Crum of St. Louis, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Jamison Sr.; grandmothers, Janie M. Holpe, Cora M. Boxley; and grandfathers, Travis Holpe Sr. and Arthur L. Boxley.
