Willie Thomas Walker

Willie Thomas Walker, 76, of Byhalia, formerly of Aurora, Ill., died August 31, 2024, at his home. He was a member of Free Branch MB Church where he served as an usher. He was retired from Lyons Work Space Products in Montgomery, Ill.

Services were held at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 7 at Free Branch MB Church. Rev. Leverne Malone officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Eloise Mayse Walker; daughter, Tamarushin Walker of Byhalia; son, Thomzand T. Walker of Coal City, Ill.; sisters, LaVern Kimmons, Edna Childress, both of Aurora, Ill., Easter Jackson of Holly Springs; brothers, Milton Walker of Olive Branch, Charles Walker of Holly Springs; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Sylvester Walker, Melvin Wade Walker and Joseph Walker.
