Willie A. "Rat" Gray

Willie A. "Rat" Gray, 66 of Potts Camp, died September 2, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. He was a former member of Royston Chapel CME Church and retired from Memphis Hardwood Flooring Co.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Sept. 9 from 4-6 p.m. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 at Royston Chapel CME Church in Benton County. Rev. Anthony Marion will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his daughters, Natasha Rooks, Sharonda Tucker, both of Holly Springs; sons, Willie Rooks of Holly Springs, Travis Rooks of Nashville, Tenn.; mother, Fannie A. Gray Honor of Potts Camp; sisters, Annie Thomas of Southaven, Catherine Gray of Leesburg, Va., Belinda Prather of Myrtle, Helen Honor of Buffalo, New York; brothers, Ira Honor of Indianapolis, Ind., Sammie Joe Honor of Myrtle, Charles Honor, Johnny Honor, both of Buffalo, Melvin Gray of Potts Camp, Bobby Gray of Holly Springs, Rickey Scott of Indianapolis; very special friend, Cassandra Howell of Holly Springs; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, King A. Honor; siblings, George Gray and Ellenor Teresa Gray.
