Willie May Jones Johnson

Willie May Jones Johnson, 99, of Holly Springs, died Sept. 8, 2019, at her home. The widow of Samuel Johnson, she was a member of Mt. Teamer CME Church, a former member of the Stewardess Board and a church missionary. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home Sept. 13 from 2-5 p.m., and visit with the family at Mt. Teamer CME Church from 6-7 p.m.; and Sept. 14 at Anderson Chapel CME Church from 10-10:55 a.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Rev. Willie Ward will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves a son, Fred Belk Johnson of Holly Springs; five daughters, Florean Johnson Seay White, Ruby Johnson and Ruth Woods, all of Holly Springs, Shirley J. Echols of Collierville, Tenn., Darlean Pegues of Lawrenceville, Ga.; 18 grandchildren, 32 greatgrandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
