Willie Mae Burton Stewart

Willie Mae Burton Stewart, 77, of Holly Springs, died June 25, 2021, at her home. She was a member of Smith Grove MB Church in Holly Springs and Pleasant Grove MB Church in Red Banks where she served on the mothers board, usher ministry, was a missionary and pastor's aide. She was a member of Mississippi Homemaker Volunteers Family Community (MHV) and was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on June 30 from 3-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on July 1 at Smith Grove MB Church Cemetery. Pastor Michael Gordon will officiate.

She leaves two sons, Willie E. Stewart (Nicole) of Jacksonville, Fla., Christerfer Stewart (Shayla) of Cordova, Tenn.; three daughters, Paula M. Stewart-Lemmons (Tony) of Lexington, Ky., Carolyn D. Adams (Cedric) of Florence, Ala., Kathy S. Kendrick (Ben) of Madison; a sister, Louise Wicks of Holly Springs; a brother, John D. Burton of Holly Springs; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Paul Edward Stewart; two brothers, Roosevelt Burton, Henry Wallace Burton Jr.; two sisters, Josephine Burton Richmond and Vallena Burton Bell.
