Willie Lee Curry

Willie Lee Curry, 57, of Walls, died Dec. 28, 2017.  He was a graduate of Rust College and a member of Phi Beta Sigma and the U.S. Army National Guard. He attended Cummings Street Baptist Church in Memphis, Tenn. He was retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 6 at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home. Burial was in Greenfield Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Rev. Marvin Smith officiated.

He leaves three sons, Jarvis Curry of Oklahoma City, Ok., Charles Ivy, Lemuel Ivy; two daughters Reva Curry of Holly Springs, Katrice Edwards; three brothers, Van Curry of Holly Springs, Eddie Curry (Diane) of Memphis, Tenn., and Wall Curry (Mary) of Walls; a sister, Levoner Cobb (Willie) of Memphis; eight grandchildren, and a special friend, Cassandra Evans.
