Willie L. “Doc” Walls

Willie L. “Doc” Walls, 65, of Holly Springs, died December 18, 2021, at Alliance Health Care of Holly Springs. He was a member of Greenwood MB Church in Lamar and was a carpenter.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Dec. 30 from 3-5:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Greenwood MB Church Cemetery on Dec. 31 at 12 noon. Rev. Dr. Patrick Washington will officiate.

He leaves a son, Willie Walls of Memphis, Tenn.; six sisters, Rosie Walls, Mildred Daugherty, Diane Walls, all of Ashland, Callie Walls of Newport News, Va., Shirley Terry of Chicago, Ill., Bertha Walls of Fort Worth, Texas; three brothers, Charlie Walls of Ashland, Ricky Walls of Holly Springs and Richard Walls of Ashland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman Walls Jr. and Mary W. Walls; brothers, Mack Walls and Dallas Walls.
