Willie James Johnson, 63, of Red Banks, died Mar. 2, 2021, at his brother's home. He was a farmer.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Mar. 13 at Smith Grove MB Church Cemetery in Holly Springs. Pastor Michael Gordon officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves four sisters, Mittie Ann Stewart, Ruby Johnson, Charlotte Pegues, all of Holly Springs, Antonette Pegues-Bates of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Glenn Johnson (Jackie), and Melvin Johnson, both of Holly Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Johnson Jr. and Earline Johnson; stepfathers, Cuba Pegues and Lester Isom; five brothers, Edmond Taylor, James Taylor, Oscar Johnson, Antonio Pegues and Mathis Pegues.
