Willie James Duncan

Willie James Duncan, 64, of Holly Springs, died July 11, 2020. He was a member of Hopewell No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran.

Visitation was held 4-6 p.m. on July 18 at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Danny Kimbrough officiated. Burial was in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. A private family service will be held on July 27.

He leaves a daughter, Kenya Duncan of Kennesaw, Ga.; his mother, Della Mae Hardge of Grand Junction, Tenn.; eight sisters, Ella Jeans (Jake) of Holly Springs, Hattie Washington of Olive Branch, Annie Hodge of Memphis, Tenn., Jacqueline Hodge of Bolivar, Tenn., Mary Hodge of Grand Junction, Izalia Duncan, Yvonne Carruthers (Carl), Sandra Franklin, all of Chicago, Ill.; five brothers, Lloyd Duncan of Augusta, Ga., Grealing Duncan of Memphis, James Franklin of Phoenix, Ariz., Joe Hodge Jr. of Grand Junction, James Hodge of Memphis; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Isaiah Duncan; three sisters, Denise Franklin, Jeanie Perkins and Lola McNeal.
