Willie Hugh Hoey, 83, of Holly Springs, died December 22, 2024, at Holly Springs Rehab and Health Care Center. He was a member of Beverly Chapel CME Church and retired from Harold Murphy Construction Company.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 31 at Beverly Chapel CME Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Willie E. Hoey officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his sisters, Josie Brown, Verleese Hoey, both of Holly Springs, Edna Hoey of Aurora, Ill.,; brothers, Eddie Lee Hoey of Aurora, Joe Cecil Hoey and Charles Hoey, both of Holly Springs.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Minnie Lee Barksdale, Emma Hoey, James Hoey and Sammy Lee Hoey.
