Willie Eddie Anthony Sr.

Willie Eddie Anthony Sr., 76, of Byhalia, died February 5, 2022, at Magnolia Regional Health Care Center in Corinth. He was a member of Hearn Grove MB Church in Byhalia where he served as a church deacon and was a member of the choir and male chorus. He was a retired welder/brazier at Carrier Inc. in Collierville, Tenn.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 18 from 3-6 p.m. and at Hearn Grove MB Church on Feb. 19 from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Archie Bowen will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his daughters, Tangela Anthony of Olive Branch, Nakeeta Coleman of Byhalia; sons, Tyrone Rayford of Byhalia, Willie E. Anthony Jr. of West Memphis, Ark., Patrick Anthony of Holly Springs, Eric Anthony of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Bobbie Anthony, Anner Marie Marr, Angela Anthony, all of Byhalia, LaShonda Anthony of Olive Branch; brothers, Charles Anthony of Byhalia, James Anthony, S.I. Anthony, Theodore Anthony, all of Memphis, Clarence Anthony of Pflugerville, Tex., Phillip Anthony of Killeen, Tex.; eight grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Perry Anthony Jr., Oliver Anthony, Frank Anthony, and Robert Earl Gatewood.
