Willie Earl Hampton, 66, of Ashland, died July 13, 2024.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on July 20 at St. James Temple COGIC. Burial was in St. Rest Cemetery in Ripley. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves a son, Keldwin Keno Hampton (Tasha) of Corinth; daughters, Felicia Hampton of Ashland, Labrita A. Miller (Patrick) of Booneville; brothers, Walter Lee Hampton (Ethel), John Henry Spencer, Lonnie Spencer, all of Ashland; sisters, Brenda Lee Spencer Brown (Terry) of Ashland, Cindy Ayers of Jackson; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnie Lee Hampton and Frankie Mae Williams Spencer; brothers, Johnny Lee Hampton Jr., L. James Hampton; and sister, Bonnie Spencer.
