Willie "Bim" Echols

Willie "Bim" Echols, 73, of Red Banks, died April 1, 2020. He was a deacon at Cathedral of Praise Church of God in Christ in Byhalia. He retired from Marshall County Road and Bridge Department where he worked as a heavy machine operator.

A private service was held for family only. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife of 31 years, Lillie May Echols; a daughter, Evonne Marie Hale of Mt. Pleasant; stepchildren, Reginald Dowdy (Demetra) of Byhalia, Sharonda Dowdy and Shavonda Dowdy, both of Horn Lake, Ralana Dowdy-Jackson (Larry) of Michigan City; siblings, Lula Echols of Memphis, Tenn., Oscar Echols (Lyn) of Memphis, Laura Echols of Byhalia, Laverne Echols of Memphis; and 5 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Henery James Echols and Archie Echols.
