William Thomas Autry, 93, of Hickory Flat, died June 23, 2018, at Magnolia Place. A Navy veteran, he was retired from the U.S. Forestry Service.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on June 26 at First Baptist Church in Hickory Flat, where he was a member. Burial was in Liberty Methodist Church Cemetery in Ashland. Bro. Johnny Rakestraw officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Mildred Autry; four daughters, Brenda Brown (Fred) of New Albany, Janice Gibbons (Richard) of Eads, Tenn., Gail Gunter of Germantown, Tenn., Teresa Joslin (Terry) of New Albany; a sister, Josie Whitehead of Millington, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
