William Henry Wells

William Henry Wells, 64, of Memphis, Tenn., died July 16, 2017, at his home. A graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Holly Springs, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran and worked for the Department of Defense for 26 years with distribution logistics in the Navy shipyard in Norfolk, Va.
Graveside services were held at Gray’s Chapel CME Church on July 21. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves a son, William A. Wells of Memphis; three sisters, Mary Ann Davis, Henrine Smith, both of Memphis, Thelma Wells of Birmingham, Ala.; a brother, George “Uddie” Wells of Huntsville, Ala.; and one grandchild.
