William Frank Westmoreland 1966-2020

On Wednesday, March 31, 2020, William Frank Westmoreland, age 54, of Potts Camp passed away. Frank was the hardworking father of Wendy Dobbs, Michael Westmoreland, Ethan Westmoreland and Angie Gresham. He was also the husband and best friend to Pam Westmoreland for the better part of three decades.

Frank took a hands-on approach to life. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to spend time in the woods and on the water. He was best known for hunting, fishing and teaching his family the simple things in life and how to live off the land. He never passed up an opportunity to tell a joke or bring a smile to a face.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Westmoreland; their children, Wendy Dobbs (Tory), Michael Westmoreland, Ethan Westmoreland and Angie Gresham (Steven). He was most proud of his 12 grandchildren, Eli, Hayden, Christian and Anna Dobbs, Jaden, Kiley and Liam Westmoreland, Kendal Goode, Laken and Maddox Vanzant and Taylor and Palmer Gresham.

He is also survived by his mother, Frances Westmoreland; his sister, Marie Alderson (Ricky); and brothers, John Westmoreland (Staci) and Carlton Westmoreland (Terry).

He was preceded in death by his father, James Clifton Westmoreland; and his brother, Kenneth Westmoreland.

His legacy will live on through the ones he loved the most. Graveside services were held Friday, April 3, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Lebanon Cemetery in Potts Camp. A visitation was held in the Lebanon Baptist Church also on Friday from 1 p.m. until service. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
