William Dawson, 86, of Holly Springs, died Jan. 3, 2021, at Alliance HealthCare System. He was a Methodist, tool and dye machinist and an Army veteran.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 5 at Hill Crest Cemetery in Holly Springs. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his spouse/caregiver, Peggy Osteen Dawson; one daughter, Denise Bonds (David) of Holly Springs; grandchildren, Josh Bonds and Jordan Bonds; four sisters, Frances Park of Iuka, Kathleen Jenkins of Atoka, Tenn., Joyce Culbreth of Columbia, Ala., and Stella Caligaris of Oakland, Tenn.
He was preceeded in death by a brother, Wilfred Dawson; sister, Annie Mae Saunders; and parents, Jack and Oma Dawson.
