William Boyd Wooten

William Boyd Wooten, 79, of Olive Branch, formerly of Byhalia, died October 18, 2023, at his home. He was a member of St. Matthews MB Church and a retired concrete finisher.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Oct. 27 from 1-5:30 p.m. and on Oct. 28 at St. Matthews MB Church from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Gregory Hughes, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his wife, Dorothy Wooten; daughter, LaKeisha Shonta Neely of New Albany; sisters, Anna Wooten, Mattie McKnuckle both of Byhalia; brothers, James Wooten of Olive Branch, Winston Wooten Jr. of Byhalia, Curtis Wooten of Memphis, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and life-partner, Sarah Smith of Olive Branch.

He was preceded in death by a son, Keith Latrell Hughes.
