William Alexander Sr.

William Alexander Sr., 83, of Senatobia, died Dec. 10, 2016, at Great Oaks in Byhalia. He was formerly employed with road maintenance in Tate County.

Services were held Dec. 17 at 12 noon at Wyatte Community Church in Senatobia with burial in Southwoods Memorial Park. Rodgers Funeral Home in Senatobia was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Eatherine Bowen Alexander; five daughters, Daisy Jackson, Ethel Alexander, both of  Olive Branch, Lois Alexander, Collins Steward, both of Byhalia, Unissteanim Gibbs of Ashland; four sons, William Alexander Jr., Bennie Earl Alexander, both of Byhalia, Raymond Alexander of Nashville, Tenn., Lorenzo Alexander of Byhalia; a sister Lorlean “Dolly” Stewart of Chicago, Ill.; 25 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
