William Afton Shaw Sr., 81, of Holly Springs, died October 14, 2024. He served in the USMC and was assigned to the Honor Guard in Washington, DC. He was employed by Roadway Express.
Services were held at Red Banks Baptist Church at 4 p.m. on Oct. 18. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his children, William Afton Shaw Jr. (Traci) of Mechanicburg, Pa., Timothy Lewis Shaw (Susan) of Rossville, Tenn., Christopher Patrick Shaw of Hernando, Leanne Gonzales of Bartlett, Tenn; sisters, Barbara Rhea, Nancy Bryan (Bill), Margie Haynes, Pamela Barber; brother, Otis "Bud" Shaw (Debbie); 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Shaw.
