Wesley Crutcher Sr.

Wesley Crutcher Sr., 69, of Southaven, formerly of Holly Springs and Slayden, died April 9, 2023, in Olive Branch. He was a member of Concord MB Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired U.S. Army veteran. He was a police officer for Holly Springs Police Department and the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on April 14, from 2:30-5:30 p.m. and on April 15 at Concord MB Church from 2-2:55 p.m. with services at 3 p.m. Pastor Reid will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves a daughter, Michelle Crutcher of Southaven; sons, Wesley Crutcher II of Southaven, Jason Crutcher of Memphis, Tenn.; stepchildren, Ken Jeffries, Jerica Jeffries, both of Memphis, Ashuna Donis of Olive Branch; sisters, Mary Stevens of Olive Branch, Shirley Crutcher, Mattie Crutcher, Wendy Crutcher, all of Memphis; brothers, Walter Crutcher of Red Banks, Melvin Crutcher of Olive Branch, Kelvin Crutcher, Arthur Crutcher, both of Memphis; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiarm and Clarena Briggs Crutcher; siblings, Aldine Briggs, Effie Crutcher and Louis Crutcher.
