Wesley Byron Hughes

Wesley Byron Hughes, 71, of Waterford, died August 8, 2021, at Veterans Home in Oxford. He was a Methodist, was a safety coordinator at Northcentral Electric Cooperative and a U.S. Army veteran.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. on Aug. 11 at Byhalia Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Lyn Hughes; two sons, Tommy Hughes (Kaitlyn), Kevin Hughes (Jessica); daughter, Kerry Freeman; five brothers, Jimmy Lee Hughes, Phillip Hughes, Stanley Hughes, John Wesley Hughes Jr., Gary Hester; sister, Mary Grace Hughes; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Kimbrough.
