Wayne "Frank"lin Perry

Wayne "Frank"lin Perry was born July 5, 1964 in Nelsonville, Ohio and passed away on February 25, 2025 in Byhalia, Mississippi.

Wayne did not have any biological children but, alongside his sister, he was a dedicated "Uncle" to raising his two nieces and nephew from birth. His consistency and loving support through their lives have left an everlasting impression and none of them have a core memory that doesn't have him in it. He was a family man who prioritized them in all he did and showed them the perfect amount of "supportive love" and "tough love" through each stage in life. His devotion to them led to him being known affectionally by everyone close to the family simply as "Uncle."

Wayne was the prime example of living out "you work for what you want" and was a devoted employee in the transportation field for over 35 years. Wayne was a proud man and never asked for anything but was always willing to give. He worked tirelessly to help anyone he met along the way that needed something. He never lost his childlike spirit and love for a good joke or occasional prank.

Wayne is survived by his sister, Cindy Hooper of Byhalia, MS; his nieces, Krystal (Billy) Rushing of Nesbit, MS, Ashley (Parker) Dodge of Olive Branch, MS; and Johnathon Hooper of Byhalia, MS. He was also a very proud "Grunkle" of LillyBeth Rushing.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Elizabeth Vandiver.
