Walter Louis Griffin, 59, of Holly Springs, died July 19, 2022. He was an auto mechanic.

Visitation will be held at the Eddie L. Smith Multi-Purpose Building on July 30 at 10 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Serenity Autry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a daughter, Cameshia Martin (Nathaniel) of Olive Branch; two step-daughters, Nakia Martin, NaKirya Martin, both of Holly Springs; 12 brothers, James Griffin of Memphis, Tenn., Madison Griffin (Donna) of Montgomery, Ill., Larry Griffin of Aurora, Ill., Willie Griffin (Tammy) of Aurora, Henry Tuggles (Lora) of Batavia, Ill., James Tuggles, Felix Tuggles, Larry Tuggles, all of Aurora, Harry Tuggles (Lisa) of Joliet, Ill., Louis Tuggles of Memphis, Nickey Tuggles, Kenneth Tuggles, both of Holly Springs; eight sisters, Barbara Pool of Memphis, Juliatte Perry (Billy) of Jackson, Tenn., Mona Lisa Griffin of Holly Springs, Vera Prentiss of Sugar Grove, Ill., Dorothy Jones, Carolyn Tuggles of Aurora, Lucindy McNeal (Huce) of Memphis, Lizzie Moore (James) of Holly Springs; and four granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garthenia Scales Griffin and James Walter Griffin; father, Henry Franklin Tuggles; three brothers, Lenwood Jones, Donnell Echols, Joseph Tuggles; and a sister, Deborah Griffin-Porter.
