Walter Isaac Reaves

Walter Isaac Reaves, 98, of Ashland, died January 28, 2022, at Waters of Memphis Rehab and Health Center. He was a member of Miracle Temple Salt & Light Ministries where he served as a deacon and was a member of Order of Masonic Lodge. He was the owner/operator of Walter Reaves Electric & Plumbing Company.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 11 from 3-6 p.m. and at Miracle Temple Salt & Light Ministries on Feb. 12 from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Bishop L.T. Mason will officiate. Burial will be in Miracle Temple Cemetery in Lamar.

He leaves his daughters, Perlene Haley of Collierville, Tenn., Maude Williams, Maxine Reaves, both of Ashland, Mary Lewis of Columbia, SC, Imogene Williams of Milwaukee, Wis.; sons, James Reaves, Murray Reaves, Charles Reaves, all of Milwaukee; Glen Reaves of Houston, Tex.; 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Patterson; brothers, Howard Reaves, Lester Reaves, Ellis Morgan Reaves, J.D. "Gaston" Reaves and Oscar B. Reaves.
