Wallace Lee Freeman

Wallace Lee Freeman, 74, of Holly Springs, died December 23, 2024, at Methodist Hospice House in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of Strawberry MB Church where he served as deacon, choir member, Sunday school superintendent and teacher. He was a U.S. Army veteran and an electrician at Tam Electric Company in Memphis.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Jan. 1 from 2:30-4 p.m. and on Jan. 2 at Strawberry MB Church from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Deldrick Leasure will officiate.

He leaves his wife, Lurline Howell Freeman; a daughter, Joselyn Freeman Singleton of Olive Branch; son, Kelsey Freeman of Holly Springs; sister, Barbara Freeman Beard of Holly Springs; Daryl Freeman of Holly Springs; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Freeman Sr. and Willie Earl Jones Sr.
