Walker Bryson Sr.

Walker Bryson Sr., 70, of Lamar, died November 24, 2023, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of Kimbrough Chapel MB Church.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel on Dec. 1 from 5-7 p.m. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 at Roberts Chapel CME Church in Lamar. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his wife, Verlie Bryson; daughters, Sheran Harden (Curtis) of Chulahoma, Rozetta Sellers of Lamar; sons, Hubert Bryson (Kristan) of Olive Branch, Walker Bryson Jr. (Sabrina) of Saulsberry, Tenn.; brothers, Rickey Bryson of Lamar, Jeffrey Bryson of Red Banks; sister, Fannie Echols of Lamar; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin Bryson, Cornell Bryson and Willie Bryson.
